17/06/08 - Touch2Wild sign up with Lightning Bug
Lightning Bug will now be representing hot new girl band Touch2Wild. Signed to the Cromazone label, the girls are influenced by The Pussycat Dolls, Pink and Christina Aguilera but have their own unique brand of high tempo sexy dance pop. To hear a sample of the girls' music vist the Touch2Wild MySpace profile or their official site. Hayley, Stella, Laura, Judi and Brooke are currently working on their first album and have already supported the likes of East17.
30/05/08 - Hot new look for lbug.co.uk
Lbug.co.uk has had a summer facelift to bring it into line with the rest of the Lightning Bug family of websites, transforming from a cool, wintery white and blue colour scheme to a scorching black and orange. More importantly, for the benefit of visually impaired visitors, the site is also now fully accessible and scalable.
09/05/08 - Dubai Dreams launches
Dubai Dreams, the latest site from Lightning Bug has now launched. Dubai Dreams will build into a comprehensive reference covering all aspects of life in the city. Key topics covered include: holidays, property, jobs, business and entertainment in Dubai.
01/04/08 - LBUG.tv launches
LBUG.tv, Lightning Bug's public site is finally live. LBUG.tv is a free portal featuring online gaming and videos, virals and clips. There is also a Lightning Bug shop to where users can buy merchandise, competition pages and forums where the online community can engage with us and each other. LBUG.tv will feature all of Lightning Bug's video and game output and the best of the web. We will continue to develop and improve LBUG.tv over the coming months and add more content and functionality on a regular basis.
12/01/08 - The Ministry goes viral
Our campaign to increase awareness of North London based football coaching system Ministry of Football is gaining momentum. Using a variety of viral marketing and SEO techniques Lightning Bug has begun to drag Ministry of Football into the public consciousness. The first wave of video, a series of football coaching tutorials has already been launched and an example can be viewed here. This will be supported by a series of articles on football coaching and other issues related to coaching and the development of young footballers.
05/12/07 - 6 months, half a million hits
'Fill Her Up' (here and here) has been an unqualified success, achieving our target of half a million views in under six months. Lightning Bug would like to say a big thank you to the 505,726 individuals of impeccable taste who made it possible.
